                  Before electricity was invented or readily available, kerosene lamps were in use as a common household commodity. The White River Museum has a beautiful collection of lamps from the pioneers of Rio Blanco County.

Fashions of the Past

Fashions – mainly women fashion, dated from the late 1800’s through the 1950’s and even into the 1960’s, are on display in the White River Museum. Bonnets, dress hats, shoes, purses and all kinds of clothing are arranged in Room 5.
